J&R Fan Fiction
In 2013, Amazon launched a program called Kindle Worlds. It allowed authors to license the usage rights to their series works to the program so that other authors could write stories set in their world. The Miss Fortune series by Jana DeLeon was one of the early worlds to enter the Kindle World program.
In 2018, Amazon decided to discontinue the Kindle Worlds program and unpublished all the stories created by the world authors. Because Jana loved the concept of the Kindle World program and her readers enjoyed the stories created by other authors, she decided to form J&R Fan Fiction to republish the stories previously published in Kindle Worlds and to allow the authors to continue to publish new stories set in the Miss Fortune world.
IMPORTANT: All authors published with J&R Fan Fiction have contracts with the publishing company that provide them with the legal right to use the elements of the Miss Fortune series in their stories. No use of Miss Fortune series elements is allowed outside of an agreement with J&R Fan Fiction. To do so would be a violation of the intellectual property rights of Jana DeLeon.
